VON SONO is a label by Stephanie Oberg.
Graduate of the University of applied Sciences and Art in Hamburg.
After working as an assistent for Kostas Murkudis and Bless,
Stephanie worked as freelance designer for several labels in Germany and France.
2001 she won the Prix spécial du Jury at the Festival in Hyères.
VON SONO was finally formed in 2004, shortly after label moved to London.
Collections are treated as projects in order to explain a feeling or theme,
installations and collaborations are integral to setting the mood of every project.
Themes are very personal to VON SONO and always try to address and include people and surroundings working on a personal basis with friends, artists other designers and handicraft artisans.
Not just limited to clothing and accessories, projects have also included sleeping bags, tents, dens, moonballoons ...
Projects and Collections are shown in London and Paris.

The Vienna based label popular founded in 2007 represents the idea of cross-linking diverse approaches, processes and media within the context of contemporary art. Understanding our world as an infinite archive the popular syndicate explores it by means of appropriation, deconstruction and editing. popular activities include film and photography projects, theme exhibitions as well as two fashion collections a year. Thus the popular concept store functions as studio, lab, factory and showroom likewise.
